EXTREMELY RARE FORM OF 4 ARMED MANJUSHRI Bronze Nepal or Tibet , 15th century Dimensions: Height 11 cm Weight: 330 grams Four-armed Manjushri seated on double reverse lotus base with beaded rim. He is seated in lotus pose gesturing the varada mudra on his knee with one hand and the karana mudra with the other hand. Lifted in one hand he is holding the sword to cut down ignorance and duality. Behind his shoulder we see a lotus flower carrying the scripture of the Prajnaparamita sutra. He is wearing a five-pointed tiara and big circular ear pendants, necklaces are hanging down on his chest. The expression looks friendly.
