邱世华1940年出生，四川人。1962年毕业于西安美术学院油画系。现居深圳。1990年台北汉雅轩举办个展、香港汉雅轩举办个展。作品入选《中国后89艺术展》，于1995年至1997年巡回美国。1996年被邀展德国波恩美术馆，中国当代画展、巡回于维也纳、新加坡、哥本哈根、华沙、柏其等地。1996年应邀参加23届圣保罗国际双年展大会特展获奖。1999年应邀参加48届威尼斯国际双年展（主题馆）展出，此后多次在世界各地举办个展。
