Christian Burchard (USA) rippled ash bowl with pyrography detail 6x15cm/ SignedI have admired Ray’s work for years, met him a few times at different events and what a pleasure it was to receive one of his unfinished pieces in the mail!This little bowl was already perfect in its incomplete form. A simple shape and such beautifully figured ash grain! I did remove its foot and turned it into a rocking bowl, left the edge as it was, just slightly scorched the original saw cuts. Then, and I hope Ray approves of this, made my own marks smack in the middle of the bowl!!he Ray Key Collaboration Auction
