Chinese Ming Dynasty Yongle Emperor Reign period, blue and white wine porcelain pot. Having baluster shape body, with bulbous belly everted the tall cylindrical neck toward flared and banded rim, thick potted, raised on a footed reverse bowl base with flaring wide on the rim. A tall curved spout flanked on the collar, extended graciously upward giving wider appearance opening. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body decorated with flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling tendril. The upper neck and the lower belly adorned with repeating auspicious pattern, enclosed with numerous rings lines fine blue fine color. Cresting wavy Lishui water and auspicious pattern festooned on the foot base rim. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black.
