Antique Japanese Dress Sword probably a 19 century Naval Admiral's; rings and mounts in Gilt Bronze over black lacquered leather sheath, the hilt grip in sharkskin with gilt wires; Steel blade and Decorative yellow silk cords and knot tassel. Good condition with light age related wear, gilt mounts to leather sheath slightly loose, light wear to gilding. Total length 33 inches (83.7 cm.).
