Degué (David Guéron 1892-1950) France; a Pair of Frosted and polished Glass Art Deco Wall Sconces marked to the outside with the cast Degué mark in script and to the inside with "Compiegne France" and "581." with original art deco wall mounts in brass or bronze and gem-box covers. Good condition with light age related wear. Height of glass 14 1/4 inches (36.2 cm.) X width 6 1/4 inches (16 cm.). NOTE: Following the 1925 Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, David Guéron set up his glassworks in Compiègne, about 50 miles northeast of Paris he opened Verrerie dArt Degué in Paris along with a gallery at 41, avenue de Paris to promote the art glass he named Degué.
