Chinese Qing Dynasty Repousse an Engraved Hinged rectangular Silver Box, the cover with the 8 Immortals in borders of birds and flowers, the 4 sides with a further 8 Immortals all in Clouds or Gardens with floral borders; impressed Chinese Silver hallmark for "Zhong Hongxing" to center of base. Total weight 274 grams. Light age related wear to silver and carving, traces of gilding mostly worn. Height 1 1/4 inches (3.3 cm.) X width 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm.) X depth 3 1/4 inches (8.3 cm.).
