青白玉质，受洒金红色沁。该件带扣一面装饰为剑璲样貌，长方扁条状，面饰均匀分布勾连纹；背面则为方形贯穿耳，一侧作兽首形凸钮便于系挂。作为带扣用途。玉剑饰形成于西周晚期，于西汉时最为流行，在剑上饰有四种玉饰：玉剑首、玉剑格、玉剑璏和玉剑珌。成为王公贵族剑上的重要装饰品，也成为一种社会地位的象征。后其外观深受人们喜爱，成为带扣所借形发展开来。
