|拍品选用紫檀木料精雕而成，外表呈圆筒竹节形，口沿加僧帽状边，壶身雕刻八仙进寿纹样，壶嘴雕刻一尾鱼，雕工精细，布局得当，错落有致。|明清时期，由于皇室重视藏传佛教，许多据有西藏民族特色的器物进入宫廷，多穆壶即是其中一例。“多穆”原意为盛酥油的桶，藏语称为mdong-mo。此件多穆壶造型修长华丽，浮雕精湛，华美之中透着秀雅的风范，除了造型上具有浓郁的民族风格外，制作工艺上更是可圈可点，兼具装饰与实用价值，颇为难得。
