直径8cm
|此盖盒为五瓣海棠花形，以子母口相合。盖顶浅浮雕缠枝莲纹饰，盒身立墙满工绘云蝠纹。以竹黄雕就，所成之品不浮不嚣，雅致内敛。竹黄，即竹之内皮，浅黄色，色泽光润，类似象牙，又有“文竹”、“贴黄”、“翻黄”等称。它是以大型的南竹为材料，将新鲜的竹黄片，经过水煮、晾干、压平等工序，然后贴到各种形状的器物上。《上杭县志实业志》载：“三吴制竹器悉汗青，取滑腻而已。杭独衷其黄而矫合之，柔之以药，和之以胶，制成文具、玩具诸小品，质似象牙而素过之；素似黄杨，坚泽又过之。乾隆十六年翠华南幸。采备方物入贡，乾隆时尚精此技，今已不可得矣。”
