|此香盒为珍贵的黄花梨木制成，质地坚硬，纹理清晰美观，包浆润泽。香盒整体呈圆形，子母口，口沿相交处起灯草线，盒盖平顶，依黄花梨同心圆的木纹为天然装饰，又阴线雕刻一株梅花，十分雅致，落款“梅花主人写，椒孙刻”，印：“袁”。|袁馨，清，字椒孙，浙江海宁人。善篆刻尤工刻竹，刻工细人物最擅长。刀法工细绝伦，足与蔡容庄（照）抗行，名在《竹人续录》、《竹刻胜语》、《广印人传》。
