一件非同寻常的兵器，或为礼仪所用，工艺精湛，锤头为精钢打造，一侧为锤，另一侧为钉头，均雕刻有卷草纹饰，并嵌铜钉装饰，排列有序。锤头通过两枚押板及一枚巨大的铜鎏金钉铆与锤柄固定，均雕刻细腻纹饰。锤柄为精铜所制，正反两面各铆接有一银质饰板，其上满工雕刻卷草纹，侧面亦雕刻细密卷草纹饰和“B.W. Zu NORMBERG 1581”铭文。柄首为钢制，呈多节造型，嵌铜钉装饰，顶部为塔尖造型。全长28.5厘米
