刀身呈明显藏刀样式，刀尖圆钝，刀身锻打流水纹连贯清晰。刀柄安装了巨大铁质圆盘形护手，为西藏土司专用形制，其表面满工鋄银卷草纹饰，中心安装有银质掐丝圆形押板，并镶嵌有巨大红色宝石。刀柄配有铁鋄银柄箍和柄首，中间以鱼皮包裹，其上装有两枚佛杵装饰。柄首镶嵌有红色宝石。刀鞘包裹鱼皮，包浆厚重，鞘装配件正面带有鋄银植物纹饰，鞘尾安装有银质錾刻押板，其上镶嵌有红绿两色宝石。两枚鞘箍分别镶嵌有一枚红绿色宝石。全长100厘米。
