此壶式为时大彬所创，后陈用卿等一批名家皆有此壶式作品传世，此器形之经典亦可见一斑。此壶选泥精干，砂料颗粒感极强，壶体作宫灯式，壶量硕大，当属这个时期的代表作品。短方弯流昂扬挺把，耳状飞把飘逸自若，底呈三足稳若泰山。压盖隆起，上置金钱钮，盖面贴饰柿蒂纹，壶身浑圆饱满，饰以弦纹腰带，丰富了整器的层次感，线条的处理与搭配尽显功力，与明式家俱用线条体现整体风格有异曲同工之妙。整器历经岁月仍然保存完好，且包浆莹润亮泽，堪称当时的精工之作的典范。
