提要：1961年4月，在南国早春的香港圣约翰礼堂举行了一场规模宏大的“黄宾虹遗作展览会”。这是宾虹老人逝世后，香港举行的第二次遗作展览会，有五十多位老人弟子、友人、收藏家发起并参加了这次展览，其中有缘山堂、虚白斋、挹翠阁、绿绮园、张谷雏、叶灵凤、邓芬、黄般若、向北楼、朱省斋、李侠文等，共出老人作品二百五十多件，涵盖了老人各个时期的山水、花卉、翎毛、人物创作。与此同时，大型画册《黄宾虹先生画集》由香港艺林轩推出问世，章士钊先生为之题写书名。本画集收录黄宾虹各时期山水、花卉、书法作品共一百四十幅，发行量甚少，故国内此书较为难寻。为不可多得的研究、收藏黄宾虹画作的重要出版物。
