提要：是书扉页镌有步月山房藏板等字，首有红印胡宗文、蔡元放序。目次前刊绣像12帧，并附像赞。封建地图考末行有“咸丰四年春日开雕书成山房校对无讹”行记一行。明末文学家冯梦龙依据史传对余邵鱼编纂的《列国志传》加以修订，润色加工，成为108回的《新列国志》。清代乾隆年间，蔡元放对此书又作修改，并加了序、读法、详细的评语和简要的注释，改名为《东周列国志》。市肆所见明清小说话本，多镌刻粗疏，而拍品朱墨套印，展卷之下颇为悦目。
