提要：是书前有“岁次甲戌四月潮阳/郭氏双百鹿斋敬刊”牌记，首为范古农序，末刊郭泰棣三经蕅益解合刻跋。内收《佛说四十二章经解》《佛遗教经解》《八大人觉经略解》三种，皆由明代净宗祖师蕅益释智旭讲解，以为后学津梁。民国间双百鹿斋刊本以精美着称，主人郭子彬早年供职于鸦片商行，有感于为孽深重，遂发心刊刻佛教经典，兼刊校古籍，后由郭泰棣继承。此本秉承郭氏一贯之严谨恭敬风格，由好手上板刻行，纸墨精良。
释智旭（1599-1655），晚明四大高僧之一。本姓钟，名际明，字蕅益。晚居灵峰山，世称灵峰大师。一生思想变迁，终“以般若为导，以净土为归”，以净土统摄佛教，反映明末佛教思潮。
