提要：是醉耕堂本为《本草蒙筌》最早版本，首镌嘉靖陈嘉谟牌记，陈嘉谟亲纂嘱门生校刊，系嘉靖四十四年小字本，流传极稀，后有万历本、崇祯本皆据此翻刻。醉耕堂为明代至清初著名书坊，现存最早的毛评本是《三国志演义》即为醉耕堂刊本。此本存卷首至卷二、卷六至卷十二，首镌明代整幅版画14幅，内收插图版画近300幅。封面外覆康熙公文纸护页，有康熙四十七年题记及官印。尤其此书卷端明代醉耕堂蓝印牌记保存极佳，并钤醉耕堂书坊钤印2方，极为难得。
