提要：是书为清代扬州著名藏书家惧盈斋主人岑建功所刻。道光扬州学者张宗泰潜心校勘《旧唐书》，成《旧唐书考证》稿本。岑氏因师事张宗泰，对《旧唐书》一书素有关注，故多方搜求散见于典籍之《旧唐书》逸文，延请学者甘泉罗士琳，仪征刘文淇、刘崧父子，句容陈立各依所长，分工校勘。此书可称集清代《旧唐书》校勘、考证、研究之大成，为从前校史者所未有。本书版心下刻“惧盈斋”，首有牌记镌“同治十一年夏六月定远方氏重刊补方浚益署检”。拍品原装旧貌，白纸初印。
