提要：是书为明代官修编年体通史，由大学士李东阳主持纂修。全书九十二卷，仿《资治通鉴纲目》体例，取材于十九种史籍加以纂辑，征引八十八位古今学者著述与论断，记述了起自远古伏羲氏至元朝末年的历史。该书专为帝王观览历代政治得失而作，殷鉴之旨颇为显着，曾作为明朝宫廷讲读之书。此书卷前镌有“光绪二十三年春二月广雅书局校栞”刊记，书末有光绪二十三年谭钟麟跋。四十八册全帙，拍场仅2017年一见，洵当珍护。
