提要：是经由明万历瑞安公主施印，经末牌记镌“万历辛亥年/大明瑞安长公主施”。据明史记载，瑞安公主为明穆宗女，神宗同母妹。万历十三年下嫁万炜。崇祯时，公主累升大长公主。炜官至太傅，管宗人府印。明代宗室施印经书难得一见，此经为拍场首现。开卷镂天仙玉女碧霞元君像，碧霞元君是中国自宋朝以来道教崇拜的一位重要女神，来源于华北地区为中心的山神信仰。周绍良《明代皇帝、贵妃、公主印施的几本佛经》（《文物》1987年第8期）一文中对此经有较深入的评述。
