提要：是经为传入我国最早的佛教密典之一。引首扉画说法图五折，绘有莎底比丘遭到毒蛇咬螫情景及孔雀明王像，为此经因缘。人物绘刻极精，线条繁复流畅。御制龙纹牌记镌“天顺六年十一月十一日”等字。此经首刊天顺六年《御制佛母大孔雀明王经序》，次《读诵佛母大孔雀明王经前启请法》。卷下尾刻韦陀像，面庞饱满圆润，英姿勃勃，惜有残损。此经字大如钱，字体隽秀，为明代台阁体刻经。框高35.2cm，较习见刻本佛经更高，突显出内府刻经的气派，为明代内府刻经之上品。此经未见著录，为拍场首现。
