提要：此册为邹岱东文稿，其中有关清末史料甚多。
邹振岳(1831—1893)，字岱东，山东淄川(今淄博)人。同治二年二甲进士，授湖南桂阳知县。光绪十四年(1888)擢宣化府知府。次年调任天津府知府，清厘积牍，严察属吏，较为持平地处理中外交涉事件。十九年山西奇灾，曾劝谕绅商赈济难民。旋因整治水利积劳病殁。
