Late Roman, Ca. 300-500 AD. A group of four glass bracelets (also referred to as bangles) comprising monochrome glass strains bent into a loop. In this group are included: 1)&2)&3) single black, 4) ribbed black. Glass bracelets were an important dress accessory worn in the Roman Empire, and to judge from finds in graves, were primarily worn by women and children (and to a lesser extent by men).
