Ca. 1st millennium BC. A black double-faced amulet, likely from Phoenicia. Both sides are engraved with geometric patterns. Its form closely resembles cosmetic palettes engraved in the form of a Phoenician goddess. This is perhaps a miniature schematic representation of this deity or cosmetic palette.
