珊瑚红釉为清康熙时期新创的低温彩釉，以吹釉法施彩，其色美如珊瑚，成为后世名贵装饰手法，除用作单色釉，还用作地色，上面绘各种彩色纹饰。此盘大敞口，浅弧腹，平底，下承圈足，内外壁均施珊瑚红釉，釉色均匀光润，色泽鲜嫩，能与天然珊瑚媲美。盘内外壁皆描金装饰，内壁满绘缠枝莲托福寿纹，盘外壁绘三组缠枝花卉，圈足内施白釉，以青花书“大清同治年制”六字双行楷书款。珊瑚红釉为清代单色釉中的名贵品种。此盘在珊瑚红地上又饰以金彩，更增富丽之感，实属难得。
