A heavily potted Ming bowl decorated on the outside with riders on horses. In the well there is a rider on what appears to be a horse. The glaze has a bluish cast and is very soft to the touch. MEASUREMENTS 5 ¾” (14.6 cm) diameter x 2 ½” (6.4 cm) deep. Weighs 8.6 oz (245 g) CONDITION The bowl has old wear to the central well. There is a crack in the glaze outside; it does not go through to inside the bowl. There are no other cracks, chips, or breaks. There are numerous kiln flaws, such as glaze separations, bumps, and pin holes.
