The plates have a beautiful white background and an impressed decorative rim. Beautiful hand painted design of roses, iris, holly hocks, poppies, and violets decorate the front. The colors are muted slightly with bolder color mixed in and stand out against the creamy white background. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, please see pictures for condition. IT IS RARE TO FIND ANTIQUE IRONSTONE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE.
