此件小琴炉，鼎式，立耳，直筒深腹，底面有支圈垫烧痕，三兽面纹足。腹部主题纹饰为莲瓣纹，纹饰简洁大气，深剔浅划，层层排列。炉通体内外施青白釉，内底积釉处釉色深邃呈湖水绿色，釉薄处釉色粉嫩，淡雅怡人。此类炉器形源自商周青铜礼器，在南宋时期湖田窑追慕仿制，应也是作为礼器使用，等级较高，为青白瓷精品。 整器简洁素雅，文人气息十足。古人制器，追求雅致，追求琴瑟和鸣的相衬。琴与香炉，正是生活雅事琴瑟和鸣的融合。此件琴炉，即可作为香事之器，又可作琴炉之用。
