霁红釉水盂，上海著名中医世家敬修堂陈大年先生旧藏 钧红釉水盂，瑞典收藏家 Wilfrid Fleisher (1897-1976)旧藏 红釉发明于明宣德时期，为铜矿石经窑内高温所产生的颜色，因铜离子不易控制，烧成难度极大，故自宣德一朝后便无红釉器，直到清代康熙时期才复烧。本品为霁红釉、钧红釉水盂各一，颜色饱满艳丽，为同类器中发色造型俱佳者。 霁红釉水盂，扁腹，直口。釉面肥厚，至圈足处有积釉，釉色红中有深浅不一的色泽变化，为今世所不能达。钧红釉水盂，釉面玻璃质感强，有细小开片，为窑变釉之特点。同一时期，两种不同类型的红釉器，体现了古人对色彩、釉水、造型的“锱铢必较”，颇有审美意趣。
