A JAPANESE ORMOLU-MOUNTED SATSUMA COVERED VASE MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912), 19TH CENTURY Richly decorated with scenes of Buddhist arhats surrounded by fine brocade borders in enamels and gilding. Mounted on a French later 19th century gilt-bronze ormoly stand. The vase 31cm high, 21cm diameter. With ormolu stand 40cm high.品相报告: Inner lid broken and restored. Base of the vase drilled for the purpose of mounting with ormolu. Very minor wear to the gilding in parts.
