A porcelain snuff box with pastoral motifs Gold-mounted snuff box, the outer faces painted with pastoral and mythological scenes in rocaille relief surrounds, the inside of the lid with a depiction of the Exodus, presumably after Philipp Peter Roos. Unmarked. A breakage to the lid and a restored crack to the body. H 4, W 6.8, D 5.5 cm. Attributed to Meissen, mid-18th C. Provenance German private collection. Tabatière mit Schäferszenen Porzellan, farbiger Aufglasurdekor, Goldmontierung. Alle Außenseiten bemalt mit ländlichen bzw. mythologischen Szenen, gerahmt von Reliefrocaillen. Im Deckel eine äußerst feine flächenfüllende Darstellung der Flucht nach Ägypten, wohl nach Philipp Peter Roos. Ohne Marke. Bruch im Deckel und Riss im Korpus restauriert. H 4, B 6,8, T 5,5 cm. Meissen, zugeschrieben, Mitte 18. Jh. Provenienz Deutsche Privatsammlung.
