A Vienna porcelain snuff box with an allegory of summer Oval gilt copper mounted snuff box painted with braided ribbons, the lid and base with bouquets on grey ground. The inside of the lid with five putti making hay as an allegory of summer. Blue "bindenschild" mark to the interior. Restored breakage to the lid. Minor localised wear to the decor. Ovale Tabatière mit Jahreszeiten-Allegorie Porzellan, Purpurfond, farbiger Aufglasurdekor, Vergoldung, vergoldete Kupfermontierung. Außen Purpurfond mit Flechtbändern in Reservetechnik, auf Deckel und Boden zwei ovale steingraue Fondfelder mit fein gemalten Blumenbouquets. Im Innendeckel flächenfüllende Darstellung von fünf Putti bei der Heuernte als Allegorie des Sommers. Blaumarke Bindenschild innen. Bruch des Deckels restauriert, Dekor in Stellen etwas berieben.
