此镇为籽料青花玉质，质地温润厚泽，包浆浓郁。器身局部红褐色沁，沁色华美。玉人跪坐状，梳发髻，戴冠束带，面部隐起眉目耳鼻，鼻梁微凸，两颊略丰。身穿宽袖长衫，双手相拢，抱于胸前。衣褶线条雕刻精整清晰，婉转流畅，疏密均匀。汉代人在室内地面席地而坐，或使用床、榻、枰（小坐具） 就座时也需配合席使用，为避免席角卷起，席之四隅要置放镇器。从此玉人形制来看，应为镇器无疑。
