玉勒通体包浆浑厚，光气莹莹，整勒受沁玉质产生收缩，老熟感明显。沁色润黄、颇为美观，更增古意与把玩之乐趣。整体两端大小微不相同的圆柱形，中打通天孔；外侧满浮雕作谷纹，谷芽或长或短、谷粒饱满，带有五谷丰登的美好祈愿。造型精致美观、纹饰雕琢流畅，十分适合作为收藏佩戴。“勒子”最早出现于文化期，源自生产劳动中为便于提拉重物，用皮包裹绳子并在两端用绳系紧，故具提握功用。早期先民将它看作是瑞物，用于佩戴护佑自身。
