和田玉籽料为材，凝润如脂，通体满工，牌沿琢对应的夔纹，牌正面雕海水祥云及甲骨文字，背面落款（乾隆年制），从雕工上，具有“乾隆工”的典型特征，做工严谨，一丝不苟。体现出乾隆时期的玉器在用料上不计成本，抛光技术的完善，以显示玉质温润晶莹之感。整器的圆润线条，匠心独运。君子比德与玉，无故玉不去身。在历史长河中，玉始终扮演着君子化身的重要角色。
