此件冰盆架以黄花梨木制，平面正方，顶面有长方型洞，用以嵌入冰盆，每边各嵌有两个凸起的铜乳钉，用以支撑盆沿。高束腰，束腰开鱼门洞，壶门牙板以卷草装饰，三弯腿，卷云足。好的盆架存世稀少，王世襄在一九八九年编写《明式家俱研究》时曾感叹“多年只见一例……后来所见亦仅一二”，足见其珍贵。
