周彬，字尚均，传为清康熙时福建漳州人，传曾被招至宫廷做御工，擅长人物雕刻，尤精印钮制作，所作兽钮、博古印钮，浑古朴茂，精细工巧得鬼工之誉，常于博图案中或锦边纹饰中隐刻双钩篆体“尚均”二字作记，是清初制钮第一高手。
此件田黄镇纸质地凝腻、温润、细洁，肌体内所蕴含萝卜丝纹清晰可见、绵密欲化，色泽呈明丽橘黄色，并因日久年深而显得古韵幽幽，实属田黄石中上品。圆雕太狮少狮，寓意吉祥，雕法娴熟洒脱，线条圆润，纤发毕现；狮子造型浑朴，比例协调，神态慈祥，侧身回望，与幼狮呼应，小狮攀爬嬉戏，尽显温情，栩栩如生，神情喜人。署“尚均”款识。
