此件紫檀花插甚是少见特殊，以紫檀大料为材雕以瓶形花插，颈部以兽面纹和蕉叶纹为主，底部雕以如意云头纹，瓶口处饰连续回纹，正反面纹饰对称，线条流畅，做工精细，是花插中的佳品。紫檀本就为贵重木材，乾隆时期摹古之风盛行，对商周时期器物皆有模仿，因此紫檀花插可谓少见难得之物，殊为珍贵。
