A magnificent buffet, mahogany and walnut, solid and veneered, Wilhelminian period, c. 1890, pressed ball feet. Three-door lower part with three drawers, divided by four relief-carved pillars with scroll capitals. Three tray extensions, the frame with voluted decorative brackets. The top is supported on the outside by two bosses with a wedge-cut frieze, in the centre two fluted brackets with decorative knobs. Four-door top with four baluster columns, central niche with archway and column. Carved flanks at the sides. Top crown with ornamental balustrade, shell ornamented segmental gable and ornamental knobs. On the front all panels carved in relief and with longitudinal and transverse diamonds or rosettes. Fillings on the sides, one shelf each on the inside. Ready to live in. 230 x 170 x 75 cm. This piece of furniture cannot be viewed in our rooms in Berlin.
