本品为典型的元代龙泉窑座像，通体施龙泉梅子青釉，釉料肥腴失透、温润如玉。拍品普贤菩萨坐于莲座之上，下托六牙白象，面容饱满，神态端庄，给人以宁静祥和之感。唇角深凹，微微上翘，浮现出一丝若有若无的笑意，妙丽庄严，头顶花冠，胸佩璎珞，披帛着长裙，衣纹线条流畅。 翻阅海内外公私收藏，惟有一例龙泉普贤菩萨像与本品相类，为抗希斋旧藏，参见伦敦苏富比1980年秋拍图录Part Two，页327。颈部及荷叶有修，牙部小飞皮
