斗彩极盛于成化，具体做法为先于胎体上以青花绘制纹饰轮廓，罩以透明釉高温烧造，再于釉上轮廓内填以各种彩料，入窑低温烘烤而成。而本品在斗彩的基础上又多了一道工序，在叶上再填矾红彩烧制。拍品器形圆鼓饱满，似大号的苹果尊，整身绘大朵牡丹花卉，恣意富丽。内子口小磕
