Subsequently, he continued his education at the School of Fine Arts of the University of the Basque Country, and finally became a professor of Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pontevedra. He began his exhibition career in 1984, when he held his first exhibition entitled: "Experiences and systematisation of results in the electrographic reproduction system", which was held in the La Ciudadela Gallery in Pamplona. Throughout his career he has been awarded on numerous occasions, for example in 1984, when he was awarded the National Engraving Prize, Calcografía Nacional, Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, Madrid and in 2007 when he received the Premio Villa de Madrid 2007, Premio de arte "Lucio Muñoz".
