Also a goldsmith and sailor, as a sculptor he has always been inspired by the qualities of the materials he uses and the forms of nature. His awards include the Gold Medal at the 1st Girona Provincial Council Sculpture Prize (1975), and the Special Prize at the 7th International Biennial of Sport in the Fine Arts, held in Barcelona (1979).
