此炉形制古雅，寓意吉祥，构思巧妙，整体以竹为题，口沿、三足、双耳，均以竹节为饰。炉身浑圆，竹叶贴腹，上下浑然一体，三足而立，底部有款：大明宣德年制。铜炉线条优美，工艺精湛，铜精工良，颇具匠心。竹乃历代文人喜爱『四君子』 之一，竹节常有品格高雅，竹报平安，节节高升之意，为历代文人雅士所好题材。安置书房文案之上，焚香品茗，陈设珍赏。可谓妙绝矣。
