Mughal India, Deccan (Hyderabad), 17th century This unique pendant, set with a diamonds, emeralds and pearls in 22ct gold, shaped and engraved with four peacocks each looking outward, and floral motifs. Clasp added later. Measurement: 6.8 cm x 4.2 cm Note: This pendant was traditional worn on the forehead but now can more routinely be worn as a pendant from a necklace.
