A BRONZE FIGURE OF VAJRAPANI Tibeto-Chinese, 18th ct. H. 18,2 cm Standing in pratyalidhasana on a pair of snakes curling over the lotus-base, his right hand raised holding the vajra while the left is set in from of huis chest, wearing tiger-skirt, scarf floating around his shoulders with its streamers encircling both arms and the finials falling down, snake-garland, bejewelled, his face displaying a wrathful expression with bulging eyes below bushy eyebrows, his flaming hair decorated with a half-vajra and secured with a tiara ornamented with five-skulls.
