Brazil Capturing a fleeting moment in time, yet rendered in stone, the present carving is the epitome of the work of Peter Muller. The South African sugilite hummingbird, weighing approximately 500 carats, has semi-translucent wings, the gold vermeil beak is attached to a prong at the center of the transparent rose quartz flower, removable for ease of transport. The base is formed of a light smoky quartz specimen with a large natural pink tourmaline crystal visible to the front and traces of both white quartz and purple lepidolite visible.
