Tutufa buboIndo-West PacificTutufa bubo, common name the "giant frog snail" or "giant frog shell", is a species of extremely large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Bursidae, the "frog" shells. The present pearl is a pastel yellow drop-shaped pearl from a marine gastropod which reveals a fine-grained flame pattern, particularly when one shines a light from the bottom. The color is a slightly graduated from a pastel orangey-yellow at the top subtly graduating to pastel yellow at the center and paler yellow at the bottom.
