ANTIQUE / VINTAGE STERLING AND OTHER SILVER BUCKLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising a German Hanau silver two-part buckle with reticulated design featuring dragon or griffin-type creatures, and nine marked sterling pieces including a large openwork English example by John Millward Banks of Birmingham with 1892 date mark featuring figures in the design, a large buckle with engraved decoration by LaPierre Mfg. Co. of New York City, NY and Newark, NJ having engraving of "Emilie [Mo?]rrison" and a later applied brooch pin to back, and a plain rectangular-form example by Wm. B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, NJ. Most with sterling fineness mark, some with maker's mark, German Hanau example with unidentified pseudo hallmarks. Total weight: 11.075 ozt. Late 19th/first half 20th century.
